Seven Hopes United, a not just for profit organization and current member of the Fair Trade Federation is making new strides in the awareness of the Fair Trade movement. Our Fair Trade store is helping thousands of small-scale artisans around the globe earn a living wage, enabling them to go beyond meeting their basic needs, building a sustainable future for their families.
We rely on donations from friends and supporters like YOU to increase awareness of the fair trade principles, and the unfair trading practices that currently overwhelm the global marketplace. Each year, we invest donations and a portion of our profits into community development initiatives around the globe.
This year we are working to rebuild a primary school for children living in a war-torn community of Africa. During conflicts, schools are often looted and badly vandalized. With your gift, you replace broken windows and doors, and supply new desks, blackboards, and books. Rebuilding a community school gives children the opportunity for an education, a safe haven, and provides a focal point for community peace building.
