Haitian artisans make the sea that laps their shores come to life, with a touch of folkloric tradition in these intricately cut and hammered bowls. Each bowl is handmade from recycled 55 gallon steel drums in the small village of Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti. The pattern is first drawn on the metal, then chisels and a large hammer are used to cut and mold the designs.
